We are pleased to announce that the application process for the 2025 FBINAA Youth Leadership Program has officially opened. This dynamic leadership development course is scheduled for June 19-27, 2025, at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA. As many of you know, each State Chapter can select one qualified representative for this program at no cost to the attendee.
Applicants must be an incoming high school sophomore or junior, ages 14-16, at the start of the program. Additionally, each applicant must have demonstrated above-average academic standards (a 3.0 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale) and good citizenship.
If you know someone who deserves this fantastic opportunity, please request an application packet by emailing Phoenix Police Department Commander Grady Carlson at grady.carlson@phoenix.gov. The completed forms must be returned via email to Commander Carlson and are due by Monday, February 3, 2025.

The FBI National Academy Associates (FBINAA) Youth Leadership Program (YLP) is a gateway to a lifetime of enrichment, supporting an exceptional young leader’s drive for knowledge and their desire to make a difference in the world. The YLP is a transformative experience that caters to bright minds, passionate hearts, and future change-makers! This highly competitive program is open to students who have demonstrated outstanding academic prowess and good citizenship. Students are immersed in eight days of extensive learning and growth, as well as rigorous fitness training, led by a team of law enforcement professionals from across the country. The YLP is focused on issues facing today’s youth, providing tools to enhance their individual core talents and drive positive change. Our program thrives on diversity, developing a vibrant community of socially conscious and service-minded young leaders representing each of our association’s chapters, domestic and international. The FBINAA is proud to offer the Youth Leadership Program to students at no charge.
